Fauci Testimony Sparks Intense Congressional Probe on COVID-19 Origins and U.S. Response

Today, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, appeared before Congress to testify on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and the U.S. response. The hearing, led by a Republican-led subcommittee, has reignited debates surrounding the pandemic's origins and the role of U.S.-funded research in China.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who retired from public office in 2022, was back before Congress to address allegations that he tried to cover up the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. The hearing was part of a year-long investigation by the subcommittee into the nation's response to the pandemic and whether U.S.-funded research in China played a role in the virus's origin.

The main issue at the center of the hearing was the origin of the virus. Many scientists believe that the virus likely emerged in nature and jumped from animals to humans, possibly at a wildlife market in Wuhan, China.

Gain of Function Research

Republicans have accused Fauci of lying to Congress about U.S.-funded gain of function research at a lab in Wuhan. Fauci clarified that he was using the risky experiment definition and stated that it would be molecularly impossible for the bat viruses studied with EcoHealth's funds to be turned into the virus that caused the pandemic.

COVID-19 Response

The hearing also focused on the U.S. response to the pandemic, with Fauci defending his actions and the decisions made by the CDC. He explained that the 6-feet distancing guideline wasn't his guideline but was created by the CDC before scientists fully understood that the virus was airborne.

Threats and Misinformation

During the hearing, Fauci also spoke about the threats he and his family have received since the pandemic began. He mentioned the spread of extreme conspiracy theories and misinformation about the origins of the pandemic and the U.S. response.

Public and Political Reactions

The hearing has sparked discussions on social media and among political commentators. Some have criticized the focus on Fauci and the U.S. response, while others still asleep, continue to praise Fauci and the Biden regime.

Crimes against Humanity

  • Lying about ivermectin, masking, social distancing, vaccine effectiveness and safety. Fauci misled the public regarding the efficacy of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19, the necessity of masking, the effectiveness of social distancing, and the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines.

  • Silencing brave doctors. Fauci played a pivotal role in silencing doctors who were providing alternative perspectives on the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Misleading the public about the origin of the virus. Fauci was involved in covering up evidence that supported the lab-leak theory in favor of the animal-to-human transmission theory of the virus' origin.

  • Funding dangerous experiments. It's alleged that Fauci allowed the use of millions in taxpayer dollars to conduct risky experiments in Wuhan, which involved modifying a coronavirus.

  • Mismanagement of the pandemic. Fauci's leadership during the pandemic resulted in unnecessary public health precautions like masking, isolation, and social distancing.

  • Being responsible for the lockdowns, forced vaccinations, and other pandemic-related policies. Fauci is directly responsible for the negative consequences of the pandemic response, such as lockdowns and forced vaccinations.
